Torside Reservoir runs East-West and is nearly a mile long. The lake is a good shape for practising short board manoeuvres and on good days you can reach for nearly 500 metres and get air off the chop.

Prevailing Westerly winds blow straight down the lake and are channelled at the Easterly end providing a great place for experts to refine their skills while the bay provides a safe area for learning.

There is a large grassy area for rigging up and equipment can be unloaded directly from the car

We are a large, active fleet of windsurfers with a broad spread of ages, equipment, abilities and interests. Some of us have families and regularly bring our children up to the club.
